Join our annual live event, designed to put creative power in your hands.

You Don’t Need Permission to Create
The entertainment industry is undergoing a major shift. Studio consolidation and declining traditional media spend have led to shrinking opportunities, disproportionately affecting Black and POC writers and filmmaker. At the same time, platforms like YouTube are booming, with creators leveraging independent success into studio deals. This moment favors writers who can also develop, produce, and distribute their own work to navigate both indie and studio systems at the same time. Join us for an in-person event that teaches you how to leverage this moment and take control of your career.
This is not just a day of panels. Instead, speakers will sit in small group conversations with attendees. This intimate format is designed to foster foster meaningful, transparent dialogue and insight. This is a rare opportunity to meet and learn from a talented group of creatives.
