Deniese is a four-time Emmy nominated Producer and the Founder/CEO of Reform Media Group. She began her career producing music videos, short films and digital content including Issa Rae’s award-winning web series "The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl". Her producing credits include: Sony/TriStar's theatrical film ONE OF THEM DAYS starring Keke Palmer and SZA, the upcoming independent film HARD FEELINGS directed by Jo Hatcher and financed by Tyler Perry Studios, two HBO Emmy-nominated comedy series’ INSECURE and A BLACK LADY SKETCH SHOW, and the MAX comedy series RAP SH!T. Additionally, Deniese is a co-founder of ColorCreative, a management company with a mission to empower diverse creators by disrupting creative industries. An alum of CUNY Brooklyn College and The American Film Institute, Deniese sits on the board of Black Public Media, The Blackhouse Foundation, and is a founding member of AFI’s Alumni Council for the Lawrence Herbert Alumni Center (LHAC).

Tasha is an LA whose work is rooted in humor, culture, and the experiences of everyday people. A graduate of Lincoln University, the nation’s first degree-granting HBCU, Tasha also studied improv and comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. She wrote on the first season of A DIFFERENT WORLD (NETFLIX) alongside her husband and creative partner, Joel Armstead, and previously worked as a showrunner’s assistant on FAIRFAX (AMAZON PRIME). Her credits also include HOORAE’S TELL YOUR FRIENDS websries. Together, she and Joel are the creators of THE COUNTY, a workplace comedy inspired by their experiences inside Los Angeles’ public assistance system, and co-founders of WNDRFLY MADE, their production company focused on creating meaningful, culturally specific stories with a universal heartbeat.

Joel Armstead is a Philadelphia-born artist with a passion for telling funny, honest stories rooted in culture and community. A graduate of Lincoln University, the nation’s first degree-granting HBCU, Joel also trained in improv and comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. WRITER, FOUNDER & PRODUCER

Rae Benjamin is a proud LA native and TV/Film writer. She was a co-producer for season 5 of THE WITCHER (Netflix) and wrote for the previous two seasons as well. She was also the co-writer and co-executive producer of SIRENS OF THE DEEP, an animated feature set in The Witcher Universe. In 2020, Rae founded In the Cut; a company that provides training and resources for emerging BIPOC writers. In the Cut has produced over 200 live and virtual events, and partnered with organizations like NBCUniversal and Sundance Collab.

Rae's independently produced audio drama, PRESTIGE, became an Editor's Pick on Apple and has amassed over 400 5-star ratings and 200,000 downloads across Apple Podcasts and Spotify since 2022. She is also the co-creator of JULISA, WHO? an animated web series. Rae is 2026 Rideback RISE Fellowship finalist and Circle member and recently received the 2026 #TaketheLead Award, presented by Starz Network and Humanitas. She is currently planning to write and direct her first short film.

Kryzz Gautier is a Queer, Afro-Latina, from the Dominican Republic. Kryzz has written for THE GORDITA CHRONICLES (HBO) , served as a writer /creative consultant on 2K Games’ BIOSHOCK 4, and worked on a variety of other projects across film and television. She’s developed projects with Sony and Universal and her films have been distributed by HBO Max, Hulu and more.

In 2026, Kryzz was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and was named one of Netflix’s Directors On The Rise. She’s also participated in programs like NBC’s Female Forward Directing Program, Starz’s #TakeTheLead Initiative, Ryan Murphy’s Half Initiative, The Sundance Institute, and was a semi-finalist in The Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship. Her award-winning films have screened at multiple Oscar and BAFTA qualifying festivals around the world.

Caroline Renard is a first-gen Haitian-American screenwriter and  director from Miami, now based in Los Angeles. A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in African American Studies and Political Science. She was most recently a Story Editor on SECRETS OF SULPHUR SPRINGS (DISNEY+) and made her directorial debut with the award-winning short UNBRAIDED, which premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and screened widely, and currently boasts over 100,000 views on YoutTube. Caroline is a 2024 Black Film Space Directing Mentee, part of the 2026 Rideback Rise Circle: an accelerator program for mid-career POC creators and chosen as a 2026 Cherokee Film + Amazon MGM Studios Directors Elevation Apprentice. She is also the Co-Chair of the Committee of Black Writers for the WGA West. She is currently developing her first feature.
