Racquel is a LA native and screenwriter. She started her career as an assistant to Emmy-Winner Lena Waithe, before serving as writer’s assistant on BOOMERANG (BET+) where she also wrote two freelance episodes. Racquel was also the writer’s assistant on TWENTIES (BET+) She was first staffed on the Freeform hit, GOOD TROUBLE, and has sent went on to write and produce shows like SWAGGER (Apple TV+) and THE CHI (Showtime).
