ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Crickett Rumley received her MFA in Film at Columbia University and is the founder and senior director of the Film Festival Department at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) in Los Angeles, where she develops educational programs and events for a diverse and international student body. She has coached filmmakers to official selections at festivals ranging from Sundance to Bronzelens and to wins and nominations at the Student Academy Awards, the BAFTA Student Film Awards, the DGA Student Film Awards, and the College Television Awards.
A passionate educator, Crickett is a member of the board of the Film Festival Alliance and chairs their Education Committee. Recent festival appearances include moderating, speaking, and teaching at festivals such as Sedona, Hollyshorts, San Luis Obispo, Proof of Concept, and more.
