Staff Writer Bootcamp
Join ITC Founder and THE WITCHER writer Rae Benjamin for a two-day bootcamp. We’ll cover how to craft an engaging bio, tips for creating a memorable writing sample, and what exactly goes on in staffing meetings. With individualized feedback and extensive time for Q&A, this 2-day online bootcamp will prepare you for an entry-level role as a staff writer on a TV series.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Rae Benjamin is a TV/film writer and proud LA native. Most recently, she was a co-producer on THE WITCHER (Netflix) and co-executive producer for THE WITCHER: SIRENS OF THE DEEP, an animated feature which debuted on Netflix in early 2025. She previously worked on BRIDGERTON (Netflix) and OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH (HBO Max).
In 2020, Rae founded In the Cut, an organization that provides education, training, and resources BIPOC creatives interested in the entertainment industry. ITC has produced over 125 virtual and live events, partnering with companies such as Sundance Collab, NBCUniversal, Final Draft and more. Rae enjoys spending time with her son and yelling profanities at the TV when game show contestants get the answer wrong. She is repped at UTA.
