An excellent logline can help sell your idea with ease, while a bad one can turn an intriguing premise into something boring. In this workshop, ITC Founder and CEO Rae Benjamin (THE WITCHER, BRIDGERTON) will explain the formula behind successful loglines, and how to synthesize a complex idea into a one-sentence summary. Rae will also explore how to use a logline as a diagnostic tool for to discover and remedy issues with their premise before you even start writing.

Rae Benjamin is the founder and CEO of In the Cut, an educational company that provides education and resources for Black creatives and other people of color interested in the entertainment industry. She is currently a co-producer on THE WITCHER (Netflix). Previously, she was an assistant shows like BRIDGERTON (Netflix) OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH (HBOMax). She is repped by UTA.
