Your sample is your calling card as a writer. One excellent script can land you a pitch meeting, fellowship, an agent, or even a job. In this 6-week course, ITC Founder and writer Rae Benjamin (THE WITCHER) will teach story structure, character development, dialogue, and more so that you can craft a unique script that stands out in a highly competitive landscape. Students receive instructor feedback each week, providing them constructive evaluation in a supportive and open environment. If you complete your assignments each week, you’ll end the course with a complete first draft of your script.

All students will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A at the end of each class. And if for any reason you can’t make the online class live, you can watch the video recording at your convenience.
One scholarship spot is available for someone in need. Applicants send a brief, 1-3 paragraph statement explaining your background and why you’d like to participate to info@inthecutla.org by February 20, 2025
